Calm Before the Storm is the 10th episode of Endventures.

Plot

The episode begins with Wrecker standing on a sandy beach with a pile of dirt blocks next to him. Then he commences an evil plan by using the dirt blocks as a moving platform towards the rebel city.

Meanwhile, the heroes have landed onto the shores of the rebel city. Click-Clack sees the place too small before Red examines the place being big on the inside and knowing a guy with a bigger house. Nobraynes attempts to enter but is shot by a rebel guard, who questions about endermen attacking without provocation, zombies not burning in sunlight, and a few monsters that are accompanied by human traitors. Colin tells him that they are not traitors and are here to join the rebels, but the rebel guard thinks he would allow some suspicious-looking humans, a pig, a zombie, and a shabby skeleton to enter their city. Click-Clack tells the rebel guard to repeat it again with an arrow in his mouth, but Red warns him to not.

After their short argument, the rebel leader arrives and wants to know if there is a problem. The rebel guard tells him that the humans outside were intending to attack their city, before the rebel leader doesn't seem them too hostile to him. Colin tells them that they are not and wishes to join their city. Then the rebel leader makes the rebel guard to let the heroes inside despite his protests.

When the heroes enter the rebel city, Nobraynes gives the arrow back to the rebel guard and tells him to not shoot at him again. The rebel leader introduces himself to the heroes and shows them the rebel city, which is not really a city since they are still expanding, and then he asks for the names of the heroes. Colin tells the leader the names of his fellow allies, then the rebel leader tells them he'll be in the watchtower.

Afterwards, Click-Clack attempts to steal the leader's helmet, which he laid down on a nearby block before leaving, but an iron golem knocks his head off his body, and he and Nobraynes have issues with the iron golem. Click-Clack then manages to take the helmet while Nobraynes is distracting the iron golem, while Colin takes a tour of the city with Porkey. Click-Clack shows off his archery skills to one of the rebels, a girl in a green sweater with pink hair named Katie. Click-Clack is slapped once in this moment.

Colin climbs up into the watchtower, where the rebel leader is, and looks at the view. The rebel leader asks Colin why he fights, and what is his motive for fighting. Colin tells him that since the endermen destroyed his house, it is the right thing for him to do. The rebel leader tells him he lost his home too and lived in the Main City before it was destroyed by the endermen. Colin realizes that Red is from the Main City who told him about a big ender dragon attacking it. There, the rebel leader gives Colin his own reason for fighting as a backstory begins.

The rebel leader had moved his family to an underground bunker upon seeing Endaria in her dragon form as she prepared to attack the city and knowing that it was hopeless to fight it. He and his family came out of the shelter long later to find that the city is no longer there, and he saw a group of endermen with riches from the city, including Endreai and Wrecker. Deciding to redeem himself for his cowardly actions, the rebel leader attempts to slay Endreai with his war axe, only to be threatened with his family by Wrecker. He tells the rebel leader to drop his axe, and he drops it. Wrecker then kills his family, and when the rebel leader looks for his weapon, Endreai is holding it, and is kicked in the back by Wrecker. One of the endermen that joined Wrecker and Endreai planned for them to kill him, but Wrecker tells him that they should leave him and let his sorrow consume him by jumping into a lava pool or something. Endreai tells them that he's the general and they should do what Wrecker just said. The endermen teleport away and the rebel leader loses his weapon, leaving him with nothing but grief. He wished to give his life for this war and wants to die quite soon so that he can be reunited with his family, but would not until the enderman who took his family away from him is dead by his hands. After the backstory, Colin apologizes to him and tells him that they will win the war, to which the rebel leader hopes so.

Elsewhere, Red and Click-Clack can be seen somewhere in the city. When Red asks Click-Clack if he liked villagers, Click-Clack tells him that he can't trust anyone with a straightjacket. He then steals a local villager of his bread, which he quickly tosses away. Red then walks toward the entrance of the watchtower, where he shortly discusses the scenario of an ender dragon attacking, then shows the rebel leader blueprints for an "anti-dragon weapon" and is given the materials to build it, and would ask anyone if he needed help.

In the End, the Endermaster is sparring with a bunch of endermen and he kills them with ease. His ender guards teleport to him to tell him that they have completed another training session. One of the ender guards tells him if the Endermaster should practice something else other than endermen, before he snaps back at him for questioning their master's wonderful decisions. The Endermaster tells them that someone will pay with his life when proven wrong by someone else. The ender guard tells him that it's a waste of soldiers and wants him to train without them, but the Endermaster rejects their request and tells them to leave because he feels Endaria's presence nearby. The ender guard makes an insult on her before the Endermaster kills him, and warns the remaining ender guard that no one is ever allowed to talk like that about his daughter. The remaining ender guard agrees to the warning before teleporting away.

Then Endaria arrives and tells the Endermaster that she is ready. The Endermaster tells her if she is saying that because she is ready or because of what he said before, before she promises that she is ready. Then he gives her his orders and she transforms into an ender dragon before he transports her to the overworld to attack the rebel city, ending the episode.
